Eric D. Grayson, born New York, New York 1957. Eric founded Grayson & Associates in 1992 and since that time, the Firm has developed into the premier Greenwich based general commercial boutique. Eric concentrates his practice on complex commercial litigation and general business advice, including contract negotiations and drafting. Litigated matters include sophisticated commercial contract disputes, partnership disputes, real estate, landlord/tenant matters, chemical and petroleum trading and transportation, international licensing agreements, syndicated partnerships, all aspects of maritime disputes, and real estate/development/construction disputes and claims on behalf of owners, developers, contractors and brokers. Eric also handles residential and commercial real estate matters, including sales and purchases, closings, forming ownership vehicles and lease negotiations.
Eric has also handled a number of highly complex probate and family matters, including divorces.
Eric was appointed by the Hon. Francis M. McDonald, Chief Justice of Connecticut’s Supreme Court as an Attorney Trial Referee for the State of Connecticut.
Eric attended St. Lawrence University, B.A., 1979 and Tulane University School of Law, J.D. 1982, where he was on the Editorial Board of The Maritime Lawyer 1980_1982, and was Chief Administrator _ Honor Board 1981_1982.
Eric is admitted in the following, New York and Connecticut; United States District Courts, Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and Connecticut and United States Courts of Appeals for the Second, Third and Eleventh Circuits.
At various times, Eric has served on the Boards of The Greenwich Chapter of the American Red Cross, The Greenwich Chapter of the Boys and Girls Club, The Greenwich Chapter of the Boy Scouts of America, was a member of The Greenwich Land Trust, Greenwich Clean & Green, Greenwich Riding Trails Association and was an Associate of Greenwich Republican Town Committee.
